The iPad

I know, I know, people are still quite skeptical about the whole iPad vibe, but, I am sorry, it is just so incredibly desirable. I know it is essentially an oversized iPhone and well, everyone and their dog would gladly sacrifice their soul in the hopes of getting their greasy mitts on one of those. So, now what's the issue  been with the iPad, apart from its name which sounds like a brand of tampon, horribly disturbing.

I think everyone was getting ready for an actual tablet computer, something that they could do Microsoft Office and Photoshop on, and it just isn't. Instead it is filling in the gap between macbook and iPhone, the gap where all those iPhone users use to say, "man, it would be so much easier if I could just do this with my iPhone." It is another Apple media enriched piece of technology, more commonly known as "one of the most awesome toys" we could ever hope to get out hands on. I am going to be honest, I was feeling a little hard done by when it was launched, but since I have had time to think about it I can see the sense in them. I still very much doubt I will be purchasing one for a log time to come still, my iPod Touch does just the job for the moment, but come time I feel the need for an upgrade (and have a slightly deeper pocket) I will be knocking on the door of the iStore.
