Dekaf May Result in Mass Hysteria

To stand up in front of a large crowd of people and to make them laugh is no easy task, especially when you are attempting to amuse them late on Sunday evening where most of them are trying to recover from a hectic weekend, as well as being slightly wound up about having to go back to work the next day. We certainly felt obliged to do our bit for our mate and so we got our asses to On Broadway to go and check him out.

Siv took to the stage in a flurry of "I like big butts and I can not lie. You other brothers can't deny. That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist. And a round thing in your face..." and old plastic Mikey Jackson with some "We are the World", you get the idea, was a pretty cool entrance. The man in all is glory then regaled stories of walking his dog in Constantia where the local "Constantia mothers" would show great confusion by the sight of a black man walking his dog instead of being mauled. The point to the story, not all dogs are born racist, fair enough.

Was a great view on South African life, love and politics, taking a view from both ends of the spectrum. Some conversations that are occasionally spoken about in hushed voices Siv brought out and gave a great twist, leaving the audience in stitches. If you are at all into stand-up comedy I will be giving the show five stars, very entertaining and great way to spend an evening, with a proudly South African comic!

"My guds? Yea, they are Superman branded as well!"

You can get a sneak peek of the show here. Enjoy!
